The New Jersey Department of Education strives to increase school and

district level accountability for educational progress by communicating

useful information to the public and school districts.


The New Jersey School Report Card provides the public with

information about every school in New Jersey.  The NJ School Report

Card represents whether the school district is making satisfactory

progress in helping students meet New Jersey's Core Curriculum

Content Standards.

New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards


In 1996, the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards (NJCCCS)

were created to improve student achievement by clearly defining what

all students should know and be able to do at the end of thirteen years of

public education.
